What is the value of Semin?
What other players would be of similar value for trade and ranking purposes...
Hard to say... what are your league points format?
G and A for a point each?
Or 2pts for G and 1 for A?
Do you play with forward only or with positions (C, RW, LW)?
All those are needed to give you a clearer assessment...
Right now, I'll say Semin is valued like a 70-75pts guy in 65-70 games. Injured a couple of time, not too physical.

Its a Head to head 10 team limited keeper league (4). Player cats are:
G, A, SOG, +/-, PPP, and GWG
My other keepers are
Malkin, Backstrom (WSH) and Kane. I'm looking to balance my keepers and get a goalie. The guy who has Miller is looking to trade and Im pretty sure that he could be had for a 3rd round pick and semin. Should I do it? Also, because its a 4 player limited keeper theres a lot of talent falling back into the draft....should I just keep him and use the pick to draft whatever goalie is available?
Right now sir i'd say that Semin is valued like these players with a risk of injury and a reward of 90+ points if he puts it all together.
Marleau - 70ish points 35ish goals.
Gaborik - Pretty much the same guy as semin with the same risks and rewards.
Staal - 70+ points with upside and goal scoring but has shown 100 already. He might be a tad higher than Semin right now.
Toews - He's got a name that Semin no longer has so he might be out of Semins range, but in terms of actual performance he's in the ballpark. Maybe with less payout.
Semin's value might never have been lower than it is right now. I wouldnt suggest shopping him if you have him because you'll be hard pressed to find a guy who will pay you for his potential.

Getting a goalie would be a smart move IMO. Is Miller the right guy? I dunno. I'd be leary of paying out a good pick in a pool with so few protections. 1 for 1 sure.
I'm probably quietly investigating what goalies arent being protected and seeing what i can do there.
A guy like Ward or Halak come to mind. They may not be top 10 goalies in the league right now so may be available for a guy like Semin.

Try to get your hands on an elite goalie (Miller, Lundqvist, Luongo, Price, etc) as the top 6 are invaluable and fairly consistent compared to the rest.
If there are other 70-ish point guys (comparable to Semin and within your stats) available in the draft, make it happen.

Sorry, I know it's childish and I've used this joke before, but I can't help myself.
Seriously though, as others have pointed out, his value is pretty low right now. If you can get Miller (or another elite goalie) for him and a pick, then do it right away.
Semin is a KHL flight risk and a band-aid boy. He has the potential to be a 90-point guy but given that he has those two factors working against him, I would be happy to get rid of him if I were you.
