The one I want back was last March. I was in first place in the league in sig and had Crosby resting his head on the bench. Being as I was being gained on by three teams I traded him for Byfuglien and Getzlaf to hold onto that top spot. I had recently traded Getz for Green to the same guy so the trade sort of ended up being Buff and Green for Crosby... I finished 5th and lost Crosby.I just know that one is going to haunt me for years.

Well my trade was more so the result after the fact that made it horrible. Was in a one year and gave up Zetts and Marleau for Malkin and Datysuk. Like 5 days after the trade Malkin got injured and Dats missed a bunch of games. I thought I totally fleeced the GM and the next day at work laughed at him. Alas, Letang busted out, Quick continues to shine, and Kaberle now sucks ass and Anderson has been traded to the lowly Sens. Ouch.

I traded Havlat and 1st round pick for Alfredsson, prior to the beginning of last year. I thought I was getting a pretty good return for Havlat. Tons of injuries last year made that 1st rounder 4th overall pick, which could be Rundblad or Strome or Huberdeau. Arrgh.

Hmm, when I traded Kipper for Nabokov the season before Nabby left for the KHL. THen the latest is probably Hossa and Krejci for Pavelec. I had too many good skaters, but probably could have gotten a better goalie, but at an even worse price as they're overvalued in our league.
