I'm intrigued by Hofer. I fully expect Bennington to be the starter, but he hasn't been a very good season goalie except the first year where he saved their season on won the Cup.

Normally I'm not in on the goalie controversies, but with that historic turnaround and Cup win still in their minds, could Hofer stand to benefit from that with STL looking to try and repeat such occurrence? He just needs to get hot at the right time.
That's one to keep a close eye on if Hofer is on WW in your league(s) for a sweet mid season pickup.

As reported by the club, Dalibor Dvorsky (#stlblues) is leaving IK Oskarhamn after just 10 SHL games and will be moving to play in North America.

Not a big surprise considering Dvorsky basically didn't see the ice in two of his last games.

Not sure exactly where he's headed yet. He can play in the AHL and apparently it's Sudbury Wolves who holds his Jr right, should STL decide that is what is best for him.

Offer sheet terms from the Blues:
Dylan Holloway, two years at $2,290,457 cap hit.
Philip Broberg, two years at $4,580,917 cap hit.

This is fun. A reason I think we don't see many offer sheets is GMs reluctant to upset the group peeve off rival GMs, seeing Armstrong not really care about getting on Stan Bowman's shitlist is nice to see

    Yep. From the Blues site…
Broberg, 23, has played 81 games for the Oilers over the last three seasons, registering two goals and 11 assists, after being selected in the first round (No. 8 overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft. The Orebro, Sweden, native has also played in 20 career playoff games for Edmonton, including 10 games during their run to the 2024 Stanley Cup Final in which he posted two goals and an assist. The offer to Broberg is for a two-year contract at $4,580,917 per year, the maximum offer that would require a second-round draft pick as compensation.

Holloway, 22, has participated in 89 games for the Oilers since entering the league in 2022-23 as a former first-round pick (No. 14 overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft. He tallied nine goals and nine assists during those two seasons. The Calgary, Alberta, native and University of Wisconsin product has also played 26 career playoff games, including 25 during Edmonton’s journey to the 2024 Stanley Cup Final in which he contributed five goals and two assists. The offer to Holloway is for a two-year contract at $2,290,457 per year, the maximum offer that would require a third-round draft pick as compensation.

The players obviously have to sign these offer sheets right?

Do Broberg and Holloway have the same agent?

Yes, both would have been offered these and obviously both accepted them and signed them.
