What's Allen's situation? I heard he was asked to stay home to gather his thoughts for the Blues next game. I know that he has had an abysmal year. I hope he can get his act together and put this behind him. There was a time not so long ago, when I thought he had "elite" potential.

Ryant - I hope he can get his act together as well! BUT sadly it's not looking good. The Blues as a whole are playing sloppy this season, especially defensively (compared to the past 3-4 seasons).

So far this season in goals against the Blues are ranked 25th! Which is insane. They have finished top 5 every season since '11-12 in goals against! At their current pace they are headed for their worst season in goals against since '07-08 (21st of 30). Remember those days? Ouch.

At this rate I will be surprised if they make the play-offs.

Back to back shutouts for the Blues now....and when Paajarvi things must be turning around.

And what about Paul Stastny! 6 points in 4 games since the firing!

How about Patrik Berglund for some depth in deeper leagues! Had to double check this but he has 14 goals already. He had 14 in 2013/14 and 17 in the 48 game lockout year. His career high is 22 and that definitely seems in reach.

Be careful with Berglund. He's a headcase and more streaky than Mark Roberts.

    I
    Schwartz Stastny Tarasenko
    Steen Schenn Fabbri
    Jaskin Sobotka Barbashev
    Paajarvi Brodziak Bennett
    Defence
    Bouwmeester Pietrangelo
    Edmundson Parayko
    Gunnarson Bortuzzo

The big difference I have is the two Centres on the top two lines switched. Stastny is more skilled to play with Tarasenko.

    50/50 on Walman.

I think Schenn gets the first crack at the top line because Stastny has had his chance.

The other option for the top two lines is:
    Schwartz - Steen - Tank
    Schenn - Stastny - Fabbri

Steen had some time at C for Tank last year and it went decently well. Then he got injured. So if you want a bit of a wildcard later in one year leagues, Steen isn't a bad pickup that will likely be overlooked due to age.

Top two lines and top pair look really solid, but the rest... it just doesn't look like there's enough there for a deep run - especially when you consider Nashville, Dallas, Minn in that division... oh and Chi.

I like both STL and WPG over MIN this year actually. Maybe over Chicago too. All six of those already mentioned will be at least a bubble team though. COL is going to be crap again.

Anyone see the Winnipeg game? I know Jake Allen started and won. But how did he look? Is he getting his confidence back?
