Hearing Anatolii Golyshev will be on unconditional waivers in the next few days. Likely headed back to the KHL. #Isles opted not to use him during their COVID woes, not much incentive to stick around

Man, nightmare season for Pulock…
Dobson has started to pick it up offensively.
Wonder if with a crystal ball they trade Pulock and keep Toews. Didn’t see him becoming that good. Wow.

Islanders will start tomorrow their play off run. 11 matches in 20 days. Almost all home games.
Which players will be main scoring drivers? When you look at current scoring table for Islanders, the numbers are woeful.

might be time to just let the few kids play and learn from mistakes (wahlstrom benched entire 3rd vs AZ and pressbox vs leafs)
send parise , clutterbuck to contenders . maybe send chara to beantown so he breaks gp record in a bruin uniform

Couldn't agree more. Young players can't develop when they are petrified of being benched for every mistake. There is a reason Trotz has a terrible track record of developing young forwards. Also can't stand Trotz trying to win 2-1 every game.

Parise 1 year extension 750k base, 750 k potential bonus.
Clutterbuck 2 year extension 1.75 per year .
Parise is versatile and still has good speed but he's going to block Bellows from the lineup when everyone is healthy

Brock Nelson scored his 27th goal of the season a few days ago to surpass his career high 26 . Would be nice to see him flirt with 35 by seasons end .
He's a little light on apples this season although he put up 3 last night verses the Sens .
