in order to maximize the boychuk ltir situation theres talk the isles may have to ''paper move'' wahlstrom to the minors then recall . This may or may not effect the first short week of the season in which isles have 2 games in regards to wahlstrom being rostered .

trotz is also mentioning things like ''whally will tell you he could be having a better camp'' so theres a little seed of doubt in my mind that he could start the season in b'port for longer than a paper move .

trotz could keep a versatile guy like cole bardreau up (who he has praised in camp interviews) (rw/c) instead .

nice pic of UBS arena via isles twitter from the second deck seats . They play the flames in the home opener and I wondered why they wouldnt open with a game vs a long time rival like nyr / pha . I never thought of it until recently that the isles and flames (atlanta) came into the league together in 1972 so there is a slight historical reference .
