Mother-effing Getz and Perry -- they are single-handedly killing my points-only dynasty. At what point do I stop telling myself that they'll bounce back and be fine and start realizing my great effing team isn't going to compete this year.

Been so busy I can't even watch the Ducks games, but based off the boxscore's I'm not missing much.

What's wrong with the Ducks? Just 8 SOG through 2 periods tonight against Phoenix. Losing 3-1.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Losing Visnovsky really doesn't help their offensive production. He's a vital component to their offense. If the fowards can't get the puck then they simply can't score or generate much offense.

Also, the lack of depth is killing this team.

and their defensive game is so poor. they always give up untimely goals and they never seem to get any offensive momentum going.

Sad times for Ducks owners. And Visnovsky is out another 4-ish weeks.

This team's too depressing to watch right now.

And as far as Ryan goes I've heard a few rumors.. The most likely one is that they are not shopping him at all, but will hear offers. It will have to be an amazing package though. Don't forget this is Selanne's last year and Ryan is expected to carry the 2nd line next year.

Im afraid to say they need to get a new coach, his time is up.

So after watching last nights game, I agree with ballsakic Carlyle needs to go. Maybe im reading too much into his body language and stuff last night but he just looked exasperrated and out of ideas.

Also Hiller looked pretty bad last night, he seems to have lost that mental edge that goalies need. He is hanging or shaking his head after every goal and generally looks like he is hoping the pucks hit him rather than really trying to challenge the shooters and make saves. On MacArthur's goal to make it 2-1 he didnt even react to the puck just dropped into a butterfly and it went right over his shoulder.

Its the first full Ducks game I have watched in the last 2 weeks and they really miss visnovsky on the back-end, Fowler is great and all but they need more than one Dman who can actually move the puck well.
