    Default JT, Giroux, Staal

Rank 'em using a two/three year window - Eric Staal, JT, Giroux

    (Limited) keeper - G,A,P,+/-,PPP,SHP,PIM,GWG

Staal - a safe pick, will get you a PPG, fill a lot of the categories, can't really see him topping 90 points (yes, I know, he's hit 100 before..)

Giroux - seems like we all have a man crush on this guy, he'll fill a lot of the categories too, less of a goal scorer than Staal

Tavares - this one is the kicker in my eyes....

And would you trade Dats & Oshie for any one of these guys (plus a pick - let's say that nets you a Gionta caliber player)?

    Thanks gents!

As for the trade I would like to see more from the guy getting datsyuk.

Take Justin Timberlake for the win
    Giroux
    Staal

As for the pick are you getting it or is he. If you aren't hell no, if you are then I might. Try to get something more though. Datsyuk is the biggest name in the trade you're giving it up.

To me this is tough. Given a 2-3 year window I think I would rank them the same as DZO:

    1. Tavares
    2. Giroux
    3. E.Staal.

Really close between all three though and I'm really not too sure lol. As for the trade offer I would probably do that in a limited keeper. Considering your asking about a 2-3 year window those 3 guys are going to be right in their prime.

Kind of depends if Oshie is going to be a keeper for you or not though assuming you don't make the trade. I'm still holding out on some good things from Oshie and I think this season is going to be telling.

I almost want to put Staal at 1. But I just cant do it.

It's close anyway you slice it up so no one loses here.

I like Staal alot in Carolina with the defense and PP.

Giroux has huge upside in Philly, but that team just changed alot, I wanna see how the team dynamics come together.

Thanks guys. It's a dilly of a pickle in my eyes too..... I have Staal, Dats and Oshie, and have been trying to see what I can do. I am high on JT, but... Staal is solid

I'm not sure about Oshie, especially not that they've signed the two vets.. will he get top 6 minutes? enough PP time? etc..

You're not the only one man, really baffled by those signings.
    I think those signings mean:
    A) Perron isn't close so that takes him out
    B) Top 6 should for sure include Oshie, Berglund, Stewart, AMc. Backes with that last spot being fought for unless I'm forgetting somebody.

I can't imagine St.Louis signing Oshie to a one year deal and telling him to prove himself and then sticking him back to 3rd line minutes. Unless they signed him to a one year deal with the intention of using him as trade bait at the deadline.

It'll be interesting how the situation in St.Louis plays out.

Giroux cleans house in this setting as he should consistently out point both these guys in general
