    Larsson gone at #6.
I'm up... who do I take? Best H2H fantasy option? (G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, FOW)

I'll probably collect opinions until 4:30pm.
If there is a consensus, I'll make a pick. (Thanks all)

Finnally Pengwin! I've been constantly checking this thread all day.

Ryan Murphy is the one to go. He's going to need a couple years, but if he gets drafted by a team that develops their players right, he'll be very good in the NHL. Go with him.

Mika Zibanejad for me this guy is looking like a real good player. Alot of teams are starting to value him highly and he is moving up draft boards.

Absolutely Ryan Murphy, hands down, no contest.

My top-3, fantasy-wise, compared to their respective positions, for the draft are

    Nugent-Hopkins
    Strome
    Murphy

And there's a case for Murphy to be above Strome.

You might have to wait on him, but he'll be worth the wait. None of the remaining forward options have had "exceptional" production when compared to their peers. Ryan Murphy certainly has. You're lucky he's dropped to you at 7.

Can I ask why you are drafting before the real draft takes place. That kinda sucks for your league IMO, you don't know where these guys are heading.

Ryan Murphy at #7. (my pick)
Thanks for the help (and REP) to JML & HPG.

I'll be needing it again in a day or two for the #19. (2nd round #7)
We have 12-hour draft windows to make our picks.

J/w, why no Huberdeau? I'd definitely take him over Strome.. Couturier as well for that matter.

Huberdeau would be my #4, but his league- and age-adjusted scoring isn't as impressive as Strome's, when compared to their peers. I've got me a magic spreadsheet. Huberdeau has much less of his game to "work out" in transitioning to the NHL, but in terms of pure scoring upside I'd give the edge to Strome.

His age? He's a month older than Strome.

Hmmm, and entry draft before you know which team they're going to.... any reason as to why you guys do it this way? Just curious as most leagues tend to wait until these players are actually drafted as which team they are drafted by can change their early value tremendously...

    #8 Mika Zibanejad
    #9 Joel Armia
    #10 Sven Baertschi
    #11 Vladislav Namestnikov

I joined the league as a replacement owner for Year 2 (just completed).
You'd have to ask the comish(s). I don't know why we do it this early.

    We are your guinea pigs.

I'd be happy if I was the #10 guy. Baertschi is looking to be a good one. I like Zibanejad a lot too, just not entirely sure how he'll pan out..

DY knows a billion times more than me, but I'm always happy to give my opinion.
