    Not a great sign especially after return from concussion. But hopefully everything is ok. Guys had a great season when he's on the ice.

    Cogliano(Hand Injury) returned to the ice in last evenings 7-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. He made an immediate impact on the 4th line.

    Kadri did skate, but was not able to shoot the puck and is still listed as day to day.

    With Byram making a leap, I think theres a chance they move Girard to help restock their forward group with a similar-aged top 6 forward as I am assuming Nicushkin and Burakovsky leave. A second line centre is also possible if Kadri leaves but I suspect Kadri may take a bit less to stay in Colorado.

    Should be interesting to see who Colorado is able to keep for a discount and who chooses to take a passive paycut to ring chase.

    Looking like Galchenyuk will be signing with the Avs in the near future. Released from his AHL PTO and at practice today

    Ranta and Kaut are already up, and I think Ben Meyers is injured along with Shane Bowers. Foudy has looked been impressive so far and Beaucage is improving it seems but perhaps the Avs want to focus on developing their younger guys rather than throwing them into the fire. I'm not sure anyone else is ready to step up. Oskar Olausson was recently called up for a game but I wonder if that was more of a trade showcasing than anything.

    Looks like they'll need another call-up anyway after signing Galch.

    Peter Baugh
    @Peter_Baugh

    Martin Kaut is sick. He won't make the trip to Winnipeg, Jared Bednar said. The team will likely make another call-up to replace him.

    edit: It's Foudy

    The #Avs are calling up Jean-Luc Foudy, the team announces.

    Anybody hear anything on Makar? I know he was a late scratch against Seattle so does he play this week? Anything appreciated.

    Was listed as game-time decision vs the Kraken, took line rushes and was listed on the lineup card but got scratched late. My guess is, he's good to go for the week but who knows.. Heard it was a UBI so cross your fingers it's not a head injury.

    Newhook playing his best hockey as an Av thus far, 5 G and 7 pts in last 8 with 3rd line deployment and TOI.

    Media types and followers are starting to notice.

    He could be an interesting add even in a 1-year as Avs have a nice fantasy playoff setup.

    Anyone have any thoughts from a fantasy perspective?
