I hate weekly roster moves. Never played in such a league, don't have any desire to play in such a league and hopefully never have to be in such a league.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of full weekly setups. I did it for baseball and it was so hard to do well in it. I still did better than expected, but it's just not as fun. It's like you turn it on one night and then sit back and wait to see how it unfolds.

I'm not sure there's a way to do this.

I don't think there is a way to do that, either. If you could, that would be sweet, but it's not going to work.

The best we have is Fantrax recording lineup changes in a history log.

My high school HTML evaluation was better than CBS.

Realistically though, it's going to be limited to say 3 callups per week, on an honor system. It's far from perfect and I'll try to check transaction logs as often as possible but I'm finding myself with less and less free time these days (except at work, where I seem to have plenty, but nothing to do with it...).

The match-up opponent can police a team's illegal activity. Most of the bad stuff is going to come from inactive GMs anyway and it's going to come in forms that actually hurts their chance to win. I highly doubt the more active guys will actually abuse the rule unless by accident.

Just calculate the bench (4 guys times average 3 games per week times 21 weeks) and that's already 252 lost man games. So just because some teams, my team included, had 500 more games played, doesn't give you a good picture like Eric mentioned.

I'm all for restricting minor movement but at the same time using the bench should become mandatory. Otherwise it's pointless to try to make the games played become more even as it won't happen if some teams are still sitting with the same roster from October to March and don't even use the bench guys.
That was my point, probably worded poorly, but yeah that was what I was getting at. When I first logged in to take a look at the roster, Brandon McMillan was still on the active roster, Babchuk was on the farm roster, all kinds of illegal stuff. Due to the way the team was handled last season it's hard to compare it to the front runners and see just how far off I am.

Judging by all the posts today, seems like I stirred up a bit of a debate here with my comments though.

I'll try to implement some of these rules updates and stuff one of these weekends. I've been pretty busy lately and can't access the site at work.

Good luck getting much with that pick. I'm sure I'll have taken all the good stuff by the time you get there.

Well you only traded your whole team away for picks. I'd hope you get something half decent :P
