My vote goes to The Black Aces. One of my favourites from the beginning.

The Hidden Gems just doesn't roll off the tongue as well, plus Black Aces is a hockey term.

Taking my bias out of my response:

I can see your point and I agree that the way you phrased it doesn't sound as good as 'called up from the Black Aces'. But, is it necessary for the name that ends up being chosen to be mentioned in that subtitle?

I don't know what Gates has planned, but I still think that 'called up from the minors' could remain as a subtitle regardless, but from my understanding the winning name was to be the brand that reflects what the section is all about.

Putting my bias back into my response:

I feel that the Hidden Gems better represents this brand, and directly ties into the 'minors' theme. We are looking for people who have talent to contribute and get 'called up' - in my opinion those are the hidden gems.

Anyway, may the best name win.

I think it should just be "The Black Aces" not "Dobber's Black Aces"

I think the name "Dobber's" could have been added to or delted from any of the entries.
