Ward or Crawford (Who to start this week)

I have been losing points from starting Ward the last few weeks. He is winning games but his SV% and GAA haven't been the greatest. I am wondering who you guys would start over the next week or the rest of the year for that matter.

I like Ward's chances against teams that are more focused on defense. IMO he should put up some good peripheral numbers this week.

I would look inot Wards numbers and starts in B2B situations as the canes play WSH and MTL b2b and then are off for two days and play NYI and BUFF back 2 back. Whereas Crawford is back to back with WSH and BOS but has a day off in between COL and TB.

I would assume that Peters will get one of those b2b starts instead of Ward but you never know. I would probably take Crawford if I had to choose, but again i think you should look into Ward's back 2 back stats

I see both Craw and Ward playing all 4 games for their teams this week. This is a tough one, but I'd go with Crawford. His numbers all year have been better than Ward's and I like Chicago's ability to keep the puck out of their own net compared to Carolina's.

Carolina's only on paper easy matchup this week is against the Isles and I see them playing more of an open run and gun nothing to lose type style for the rest of the year which produces high scoring games. I know Crawford has a couple toughies too this week but Chicago has proven in the past that they show up for big games, so my pick is Chicago, but it's close.

Also, since he has two b2b's this week, I did a bit of research for ya and Ward's record in the 2nd game of games that he plays b2b is 3-8 this year. Hope this answer helps. Gluck!

Maurice has said that Ward is playing every game from here on in. Plus he has the easier schedule. I'd go with him.

Thanks PocketRocket for the look up! I also just finished looking at that myself! It is a tough call like everyone has said and you 4 didn't really help me out any, going 2-2 in voting!!! LOL!!! Anyway I have a couple minutes left to decide which fate!!!

In case any of you were interested in who I chose....I chose to start Crawford this week. So far not so bad! The 2nd goal Crawford let in was a little to be desired, though!! That's the breaks, I guess!
