Their source is La Presse newspaper.
Just heard on Sirius that they're reporting Price is done for the rest of the season. Just turned it on too late to hear their source.

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
La Presse is reporting based on "undisclosed" sources that the organization does not expect him to be back, but is not saying anything for reasons of marketing. Not exactly earth-shattering. There has been very little signs of progress and I think most who have followed the situation have already resigned themselves to that possibility. The report says best case scenario is he might be back for the very end of the regular season and the playoffs... as if.
A little bit more on the story here, in english.

I'm under the assumption he's done for the year regardless of what the team or La Presse are reporting.

After they were reported to be sellers at the deadline, I was pretty confident he would be shutdown.

Mercy, I guess I timed my Scrivens acquisition in the WHL yesterday pretty well then!
And I own him in DobberPRO (while he is unowned in both Dobber Entry leagues... take note NOOBS )
Let's go Scrivens! Show us some Hamburglar!!
My only thought is, if MGMT in MTL does know or heavily believe Price is done for the year, why has he not had surgery? Maybe they know it's an injury that can be surgically repaired after the season and healed in time for next season?
Would they really elect not to do surgery and risk having this happen again??
My fantasy question now is should I run and pick up Scrivens for Dubnyk? Dubnyk and the Wild are absolutely awful right now and I can win with him on my team playing like this. Is it a reach to grab Scrivens? Rep to all insightful answers. Thanks!

is surgery even an option? if so I gotta believe they will do the surgery sooner than later. Maybe they were waiting to see if he'd respond to treatment before opting for surgery. If he is indeed shutdown and surgery is an option, I'm sure it will be done asap so he has as much time as possible for rehab.

No, the same article (which is not confirmed anyhow) states that the consensus is still that surgery is not required.
EDIT: Again, I do want to emphasize the article title has a question mark. In no way is the article saying he is definitely not coming back, only that he likely is not and that the team knows it. Once gain, this really is not a huge revelation.
The article is in French and I know nothing about medical terminology, but all it says is that it's an injury to the "internal lateral ligament" (literal translation from Google translate) in the right knee.
