Drop Ramo for Chad Johnson?
Hey gang.
I'm in a 20 team, 18 player league, our net minder scoring is for wins and shutouts.
I have too many G right now, but my plan is to use them for trade bait, and Ramo isn't looking solid for the number one job in Calgary.
Should I drop him for Johnson? We set our lineups for weekly H2H, so a nailed on starter is better value.
The main thing holding me back is that Ramo is the better goalie, and maybe he gets traded to a team where he can lead? Maybe even Buffalo?

Or, maybe Hiller screws the pooch, and Ramo wins the Calgary lottery?

Re: Drop Ramo for Chad Johnson?
I'd hold Ramo. Two games in is too early to be deciding that Player X is in and Player Y is out in a given situation.
Johnson is pretty much guaranteed to
a) get a good number of starts, and
b) be pretty bad on a bad team.

If winning the Calgary starting gig is winning the lottery then Johnson getting the #1 job in Buffalo due to injury is more like winning $5 from a scratch ticket.

Hah!
Thanks guys, you're right, of course. I always get way too trigger happy at the beginning of the season. Appreciate you talking some sense into me.
I almost need someone to lock me out of my account for the first month.
Cheers,
R.

I'd keep Ramo. I think Buffalo will trade for a new goalie because Chad Johnson isn't such a great goalie. Ramo should be able to steal some starts from Hiller and Calgary's defense is better than Buffalo's
