I'd grab Raanta. All of the guys are backup, so pick the one playing for the best team.

So are you saying you'd drop one of my current G's for Raanta? We can only have 3 rostered.

Oh ok i didn't get that. So if you can only have 3 goalies, just keep what you have.

    Mike Smith isn't a backup.

I'd stick with what you have for now but I'm not sure if Bernier is any better option than Smith at this point. Keep an eye on Arizona to see how they keep playing and I'd be prepared to drop Bernier for Smith if the Coyotes start strong.

Bernier vs Smith is an interesting choice. Bernier has looked shaky, I'd be tempted to take Smith.

Mike Smith is really intriguing. he had a solid 1st game, much improved from basically anything last year. Arz. is going to be outshot almost nightly, so not sure how he'll keep it together. I'd watch him closely.

If Bernier could only save the 1st shot of a game, he might be able to gain some confidence.

Watching the Coyotes game now. Smith holding tight against the Pens after 1, and this is after beating the Kings the night before. Commentators were discussing how he's been working a lot in the off-season (since middle of last year actually)... Sports psychologist, new training regime, etc. I don't know. I'm thinking about dropping Ramo for Smith in my league (mind you, I don't have the Hiller hand-cuff). Coyotes have the feeling of the scrappy underdog who could surprise with their youth, speed, and under-rated defense. Smith is a decent goalie, with veteran experience. At this point I like him more than Bernier for sure.

Ironically enough, I just read this AFTER dropping Ramo for Smith. Had the exact same feeling, especially since it seems like Ramo isn't even the goalie they want for the future (seems like they keep giving Ortio the chance to prove how great he can be, and are just simply trying to showcase Hiller/Ramo for trade but no one bites).

Glad he didn't die on that "brutal" hit, he was really lucky.

Hornqvist making contact with his own teammate! Definitely was selling the shit out of that.
