Default Gibson - 3rd straight start

So... what other Andersen owners are worried?

i either picked up gibson or dropped andersen (he was my 4th goalie) as i readied for the h2h playoffs, anaheim doesnt have a great h2h playoff schedule.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

Agreed. I picked up Neimi earlier the week (Luckily for me a rebuilding team dropped him and I had a high waiver) so I'll be cutting ties with Andersen tonight.

Idiotic BB. Spoken from a pissed Andersen owner. Andersen should be starting over Gibson at this point given their NHL experience. BB is not a good coach when it comes to handling goalies (or even lce-time and lines). Yeah, I'd be worried as an Andersen owner.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

The Ducks rolled with Gibson in the playoffs last year - maybe the Ducks believe he is more capable of competing in big games? Not sure.

    Only because Andersen got injured.

I'm wondering if Andersen is not 100% but have dressed him as a better option than Bryzgalov or LaBarbera. His first game after returning from injury was an easy win versus Phoenix but then he stank against Pittsburgh and Vancouver. Gibson stank when letting in 6 goals the other night but got the next start. Is it possible that Andersen still has some lingering effects or the possibility to reaggravate his neck injury if he plays?

Could be. They could be resting him if he's not 100%, they could be trying to give Gibson some confidence if they believe him to be the future... it's BB, so nobody ever really knows.

As mentioned before BB gives no loyalties to his goalies. Whoever is hot he runs with them. Andersen has been shaky in the last few starts making me think he is either still dealing with lingering injury issues or rust from being gone for a while. As a Gibson owner, and my rival being a Andersen owner. I'm good.

Then why did Gibson get another start after giving up 6 goals to Calgary on 25 shots??

Often times the backup quarterback is the most popular guy on the football team. BB seems to feel the same way about all of his backup goalies.

I drafted Gibson this year, but when he got injured and then the Ducks signed Bryz, I dropped him thinking "next year" or "maybe later if there's an injury". I feel for those Andersen owners right now as it's probably exactly what I felt (except for the fact that Andersen was playing all year)... This original idea was to split the net between the two of them, and I think they still will (barring an injury). However, at the beginning of the year, a ton of "professionals" predicted Gibson would have the starting job by Christmas. He IS their goalie of the future so... ?
