Default Schneider's outlook (this season and the next two)

Really trying to figure out this guys worth as I am looking to make a move involving him.

He is definitely the golden boy in NJ and won't be moved around but I just worry about the team for wins and shut outs over this and the next two seasons...

S% and saves will be good, GAA will be good to average too. But don't expect wins. If you have a 4min games start for goalies a week, you could own Schneider and one other and be fine.

The way your scoring is, he's a good bet to make a lot of saves, as NJ is pretty shaky defensively.

Tons of saves, short on wins. SO are too hard to predict.

    He'll be just fine...

One thing to consider if you break down the stats so far this season, is that the Devils were really road heavy (13 at home vs. 21 on the road) in the early part of this season, and if you've been following fantasy hockey/the NHL for awhile, you'd know that defensively speaking, teams are much stronger at home than they are on the road...

Here are the goalie split stats so far this season 2.81 goals against on the road vs. 2.49 goals against at home. (Devils: 2.46 at home vs. 2.90 on the road)

If you also look at Schneider's splits,

Home: 3-5-3, 2.24 GAA, .918 SP (career: 41-18-9, 1.96 GAA, .927 SP) Devil's give up on average 27.5 SOG to the opposition this season
Road: 8-10-0, 2.76 GAA, .916 SP (career: 41-38-14, 2.38 GAA, .922 SP) Devil's give up on average 30 SOG to the opposition this season

I'd hang on to him unless you're getting a crazy deal, where you're getting a top-tiered guy back in return... the Devils have a crazy home schedule between Jan. 28th till March 8th, where they play 15 of 19 at Prudential Center, where he should in theory go nutty...

If you're looking at buying Schneider, now's the perfect time to buy low.
