how many starts you guys think hell get this season? how well you think he will play behind a strong Anaheim team? and is Gibson done barring injuries (ie cut ties in a 1 yr league stashed on IR right now)

Yeah Gibson's done for the year NHL wise.

Bryz I think will get less than half the starts but he will be there if Andersen struggles. He's getting almost 3 mill, he's gonna play.

20 starts is my optimistic guess. (disclaimer, I own Bryz)

I would not say Gibson is done for the whole season...there is a lot of time left and neither Andersen nor Bryz are immune to injury and Bryz has a chance to be a dumpster fire in net. I'd bet Gibson is brought back up at some point this season, but for the time being yes he will be getting regular starts in the AHL to stay sharp

Andersen is still the starter without a doubt. If Gibson stays down, I see something like 3/1 starts in favour of Andersen to Bryzgalov. Andersen has been worked too hard and he hasn't been up to the task so I see BB resting him regularly from now on.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Yes injuries happen...which OP mentioned. But if there is no injury, I just don't see Anaheim burying almost 3 million in the minors even if Bryz is shaky. Extremely unlikely it gets to that point, certainly not to the point where you'd bet on it.

I'm probably going to pick up Bryz once my trade goes through cause then I'll have room. Pretty low-risk, high-reward move IMO.

Think whatever you want, but Bryz is not a good goalie and he's looked terrible so far...I cannot for the life of me understand why ANH signed him and paid him that much when Gibson could easily hold down the backup spot.

I disagree...Bryz is not a good goalie and is a head case to boot...yes they paid him way too much which will probably save him, but its a real head scratcher of a decision by ANH IMO...
