Depends who you'd be dropping really but I agree with Rehdaun, Mason is the golden boy with contract and all. His job is pretty safe.

I can see him stealing starts from Mason, especially if Mason keep sucking and Emery keeps winning. It's not like Emery isn't a capable goalie worthy of starting.
As mentioned earlier, it would really depend on who you need to drop to make room for him, but if you need goalie stats, he seems like a viable option right now.

I can see him getting a few more starts if he keeps winning, but I don't think there is any chance he outright steals the #1 job from Mason.

I don't have mason, i have quick and pavelec. Considering rostering a 3rd, most teams in the league have 3. Probably drop Maatta.

Emery may get more starts than Philly originally planned, but he won't take the starting role from Mason. See Dobber's Rule of the Golden Boy.

Emery will be in goal for Tuesday's game against the Kings, CSN Philadelphia's Sarah Baicker reports.
Analysis: Emery will start his fourth game of the season -- and third straight -- Tuesday night. He has not officially replaced Steve Mason as the Flyers' primary goaltender, but it seems he has taken over the role at least for the time being. The Flyers will need a strong outing from Emery on Tuesday facing a Kings squad that's been the stingiest in the league this year, surrendering just 1.50 goals per game.

The tide does seem to be turning in Emery's favor, but unlike Mason, he'll have to continue to play lights out. Mason is the golden boy and will have a much longer leash than Emery. That said though, if Emery keeps playing well I can see him continuing to get starts. I definitely think he is worth a flyer now (no pun intended)
