    Default Mason's Trade Value??

I managed to pick up Kuemper off of the waiver wire (how he was on it is beyond me), and I have Holtby and Fleury as my other goalies. I feel like Mason is expendable in a sense. Obviously his value is a bit lower than it normally would be but who knows if it gets better? I feel like I should try and trade him for forward depth. There are two teams I feel need a goalie. One team has Anderson (Ott) and Smith as his starters and he's always had poor goaltending. Some players I can see as targets are Marleau, Ladd and Bozak. Any of those seem like attainable options? A player in our draft who was veryy upset when I snagged Mason has Datsyuk on the IR. Would that be a decent return? Or will I need to add? The guy who loves Mason also has James Neal (who is struggling and perhaps will continue too), Little and Dubinsky. Maybe I go after Zetterberg and add someone? Team in sig.

Im currently sending a Marleau for Mason, should I add a pick? Maybe a 7th rounder or is that too much?

I really don't think anyone will give you much for him. If you believe he will turn it around (I don't really...) then the move IMO is to move Kuemper.

If someone will give you something for him then ya go for it but in terms of maximizing return when you don't need the 4th goalie I think you will get the most for Kuemper..

Yah for sure, the other GM though I don't think really is aware of Kuemper's potential, which is why I'd go for Mason. If I can get Marleau i'll be thrilled, we'll see. I may throw in a 6th or 7th rounder.

I think your target should be anyone who is in the McDavid sweepstakes.

If you're asking me, no. Mason can help them get to the bottom with his bad numbers.

haha I see. Yah luckily its a wins heavy league. So if someone believes Philly can win games then he's gold for them haha. I don't. Philly is not a strong team in my opinion.Their D is atrocious. Two offers I've made. Mason and a 6th (will upgrade to 5th maybe) for Zetterberg or Mason for Datsyuk straight up (seems more likely).

I think the Zetterberg or Marleau offers are a bit of a stretch (but take them if you can get 'em), but Datsyuk might be a good return right now. I don't have a lot of faith in Mason tbh, but he could surprise. I would prefer Marleau though.

I don't think Mason offers much to the OP's team. Either trade him or just boot him. It won't help you if he's wasting a roster spot.
