Question Need to fill a forward spot, some slim pickings left. (rep!)

I just completed a trade that left me with a forward spot on the roster. Points-only, pretty bare-bones league.
Here's who's left, basically:

Loktionov
Ruutu
Horcoff
Latendresse
Gomez
Nielsen
Umberger

One of my fellow GMs is getting impatient with Killorn, so he might drop him, but...he might not. Latendresse is the hottest and he has a pretty good spot on the depth chart right now, but I don't know if I trust him to hold on to it.

How many moves you allowed? Is this a "from now until the end of the season" type pickup or are you allowed to swing some more moves?

Trade deadline has passed, but no limit on FA/waiver moves.

With no limit on moves, I would recommend swapping guys in and out daily to maximize games. If you have any other waiver worthy guys on your roster I would do the same with their spots also... People might say its greasy, but if its not against the rules then too bad.

I thought about that (or just picking whoever has the most games left), but I'm already pushing the limit on streaming games. It's not worth getting two games out of Loktionov and/or Nielsen when I'd have to bench St. Louis at the end of the year.

If it's a question of BPA and you can't just stream for additional games, I would go with Loktionov. He's been PPG since his move to NJ and he's getting ice time with Kovalchuk. He would be my guy on that list for sure. Real upside there, and it doesn't sound like there's much harm if it doesn't pan out.

Good luck

Loktionov for now but keep a close eye on Ruutu. If he moves up to the 2nd line with J. Staal and Skinner then pick him up, as they are one hell of a 2nd line.

I like the switching out players. I'm liking Latendresse and Loktionov. Keep an eye on Ruutu as well
