Default Tlusty

Anyone watch the Carolina game today?

Seems like Tlusty wasn't on the same line as Staal and Semin. WHo was playing with them?

Who did Tlusty play with?

If Tlusty is not on that line anymore, I am considering dropping him for Oshie or Boyes

He's still skating on the E. Staal line. His PP time is what has been on shakier ground. Been moving between PP1 and PP2 the past week and his PP minutes have bounced around a bit because of it. Something else to consider is that the E. Staal line has one of the highest on-ice S% in the league: Staal (15.2%), Semin (14.2%), Tlusty (13.2%). Compare that to the Tavares line: Tavares (8.3%), Moulson (8.3%), Boyes (8.1%). Given the skill on the Staal line, those numbers may not regress too much, but it does make Boyes's production more sustainable than Tlusty's. Not saying you need to rush and drop Tlusty for Boyes (the +/- difference would hurt a lot), but it would be something I'd move on if Tlusty's PP time stays low over the next game or two and if Ruutu starts getting some looks on PP1 in front of the net.

Thanks. I currently do not mind the switch mainly because although Boyes may hurt me a little on the +/-, that is only one category. Boyes does better on the P and PPP, and he also is a RW which will balance out the number of LW/RW I have on my team. Tlusty and Staal have been golden but they haven't gotten much PPP, and if Tlusty is being moved around, I think that drops his value a bit.

I am also open to Oshie but with Stewart taking over his spot with Backes, I'm not sure how Oshie will be used. Oshie would be a good pick up mainly because of his PP and PK time, just not sure when he will be back.
