Conacher waived: Who to drop?
Conacher has been dropped and Im very intrigued. With Malone out again and his scoring picking up again (slightly) of late- im thinking hes worth a grab.
Who to drop? Filpulla, Steen, Oshie, Clarkson? Im currently in 8th with two weeks left. Top 6 make the playoffs and 5-8 are crazy tight so literally every point counts right now. Conacher would need to help now but would get very serious consideration as a keeper as well. Thoughts? Weekly HTH yahoo league- daily starts- standard 6 X 4 cats (g, a, p, ppp, pim, +/-)....

I like Conacher over Filppula, and would definitley be a keeper over VF as well.

I like Conacher over Filpulla too, although I like him more than Clarkson too. Also if you don't have an IR, then having Oshie on your team is gonna hurt.

Oshie is due back this weekend, and I don't think I would put much stck in VF's recent "streak" as an argument to hold onto him over Conacher.

I like Conacher over everyone except Steen. I think it is really between Oshie and Filps. I say drop Oshie.

K- this might be a dumb question:
Is this a must do waiver move? Is Conacher hands down exponentially better this year and long term? He kind of came out of nowhere- lol! The reason I ask is that I end up losing two games. Filpulla plays friday which Ill lose and then by Saturday I wont have room to start Conacher. My season is crazy tight so these games probably matter. Is this move such a no brainer that i pull it regardless?

Might be overthinking a bit here but since you mentioned the scheduling dilemma i figured I'd dig a bit deep too.
Do any of the other top teams have any garbage players they're hanging onto that you think they might dump for Conacher? Because if so, not picking him up and then seeing him take off on another hot streak will hurt even more. Stuff like that has definitely crossed my mind in situations like yours in the past. I'd probably drop Filppula for him.
