Benn or Marchand - Pick 1
League Settings: G,A,P,+/-,PIM,PPG,PPP,SHP
Currently in 2nd of 11 team pool. I lack +/-, PIM, and especially SHP. I can also use some PPG but I'm pretty good in the points department. I have an offer sitting: Benn for Marchand + 1st round pick Marchand seems like a perfect fit for what I need at the moment. I know Benn is far better but Marchand seems to fit what I need + Benn injury scares me a little + 1st round pick is sweet. Thoughts? MY TEAM: C. Crosby C. Backstrom BN. Koivu RW. Kane RW. Hossa BN. Based on what you need, I would take it. Concussions are sketchy.

I'd actually make that deal, in a one-year league. Marchand is having a fine year, will help you in the categories you need, and Boston has only played 22 games in the NHL so far (the fewest games in the entire league). The best is yet to come for their players, and Marchand will be right in the middle of it all.
Benn just seems to be having a bit of an off year, not to mention the injury which, although doesn't sound too serious, may hamper him a bit. Plus, the 1st round pick is awesome.

Also Benn won't be scoring much on PP because he has Whitney and Jagr to feed it too..
