Rate team/add drop rep

So, trade deadline has come and gone in my league. Was wanting to get another defenceman but none of my offers panned out. My forward games are going a little bit over and my defencemen games are growing. So I'm wondering who off my team, (my team is in the signature), is droppable in order to pick up a defenceman as well as who to pick up off the waiver wire.

possible free agent defencemen to pick up out there are:

Mark Giordano, Erik Johnson, Nick Leddy, Travis Hamonic, Stephane Robidas, Dennis Seidenberg, Zach Bogosian, Dougie Hamilton, Raphael Diaz, Joe Corvo, Jamie McBain, Jakub Kindl, Kyle Quincey

I think that's about it, might have missed some hidden dman

Dougie Hamilton bro, come on. I would drop Whitney, Dupuis or Conacher. Whitney is getting old, already had some injury problems this year, and has to slow down eventually. Dupuis is with Crosby but is also tied to Crosby, if the Pens acquire a top-6 winger, it will be to play with Kunitz and Crosby and Dupuis becomes worthless. Conacher has been kicked to the third line in favor of Killorn and Malone. Mistake IMO but it happened. Personally though, I would still rather drop Souray and pick up Hamilton.

all good points there. all guys I've been eyeing up as possible drops. selanne has been bugging the crap out of me too. his production has dropped considerably

I am liking henriques production the past little bit. think they've moved him up to 2nd line plus the shorties help me out huge.

Yea, the Shorties are why I wouldn't drop Henrique, it is a really valuable commodity. Understand the Selanne frustration, I would just have a tough time dropping him.

Not to sure if I would want to drop any of your forwards for the D available. But if I were to drop one, Dupuis stands out as the most droppable player from your team. My add on D would be Bogosian, he's not doing great right now, but he's still got a very good oppertunity with Enstrom down to put up points, his PIM totals are non-exsistent right now, but he has a solid history of them, so that's a plus. To me Bogosian holds the greatest reward of all the names available, and even if he disappoints, he still won't be far off from any of the other Ds.

How? Hamilton is all around a better option. Better team with a better opportunity and more talented. He's playing first PP with Boston too and isn't in his role until an injured player comes back.
