MLB 2k13/NBA 2k13 deal

So I just came from EB Games to make my annual MLB 2k13 purchase.......yes I know the Show is amazing but I'm a Xbox owner and need my fix. While in there a saw a copy of nba 2k12 for $20 and figured I'd get it cuz it's supposedly amazing. Coming up to the front desk i look behind the counter and see what looks to be a box with both Kevin Durant and David Price on it.......I ask the guy at the desk.

MLB 2k13 and nba 2k13 in the same box......$79

Consider me sold

I just picked up MLB 2K13 last night myself and if I wasn't already an NBA 2K13 owner I'd have bought the package deal but alas I am so I now paid $120 for two games I could've had for $80. On the plus side, NBA 2K13 has rescued me from my enuis with the NHL series.

The funniest part was I wasn't even planning on going to pick up a game. I'd actually just gone out for some tea only to discover a transport blocking my entry to Timmy's. I didn't want to waste the trip so I went across the street to Walmart and voila, MLB 2K13. When I got out the transport was gone and I got my tea as well. #winning

I will point out that the career mode on MLB seems to be super lame unless you are a pitcher, which is disappointing.

Career mode as in like My Player? I'm going to assume they changed very little...just like every year. I wish I had PS3 just for the Show

Yeah, this is my first time playing an MLB game since N64. The hitting engine is pretty lame and so is their "supersim" thing that only lets you play pitches in the field where the ball is hit to you.

I'm waiting for the PS4 to make the switch from XBox. No point now.

NBA2k13 is damn addicting. I'm playing it even more than Halo4 now. That MyCareer mode gets you hooked fast.

Honestly, they might be too easy. There's little to no downside to mashing the "skill stick" until you can blow past your defender.

In one word: No.

It's very straightforward, except for the dribble moves which can be a little complicated. I think once you start er up you'll feel the same way.

I'll also point it out again... The Show > 2k.

I'm pretty sure 2k's baseball series went under and this year is supposed to be it's last. Sucks you can't enjoy the better game.
