Who has the better team going into the trade deadline?

So right now I'm in first place by one win, and the trade deadline is coming up in a couple of weeks.

Here's the second place team:

Daniel Sedin, Datsyuk, Thornton, Clarkson, Steen, Lucic, Hodgson, Perry, Mike Richards

Boyle, Timmonen, Edler, Yandle

Price, Crawford


Who do you think has the better team currently, and what trades should I be looking at to try and stay on top?

Shattenkirk, Chara >> Boyle, Edler

Goalies are the one area you are weaker. Price and Crawford are dangerous head-to-head with 4 out 11 cats being goalie stats. Niemi and Halak are very respectable and should hold their own, but I'd kick the tires on the Rinne, Lundqvist, Rask, and Quick owners. Not saying there will be a trade or one worth taking, but it is worth finding out. Given how strong Niemi has been, you might even be lucky enough to upgrade another position (like D) with the right GM.

I like your team wayyyyy better and it will only get better as Giroux heats up, Hartnell and Landeskog actually start playing and Halak takes the crease for himself...

I would stand put with your current goalies and look to land a quaterback D to bolster your current group.
