Help!!!! Lost my Caps article I was writing for tonight

I know this shouldn't go in general hockey chat, but I need a quick as answer...

I was writing a Caps article recapping the last three games, and previewing tonight's. I was pretty much done, and it was a long one and I accidentally closed my browser tab. Does anyone know a trick to get it back? (I doubt there is one, but worth asking).

I have click a link in the past, and have been able to use the back button and my write-up is still there, but I totally closed this time.

P.S.: Using Chrome and trying to open from history didn't do the trick.

make sure chrome is open:

control + shift + t

not sure if the text will still be there though..

I think you are up the creek if you closed the browser. If I am writing a long text for a forum/email, I will often write it in Notepad so any accidents with the browser are avoided...just copy/paste, use Ctrl-S often.

Tried that and the text was gone.

I usually do that but didn't today for some reason.


The worst part is that I am an IT guy so I should know better. I have been so busy and unable write articles. I was so excited to have a few hours to write today that I totally forgot to save it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a good memory, so it isn't all lost, just won't be posted prior to puck drop tonight.
