In the cellar, looking for keepers....
15-team league, we keep 10 (1 goalie max). Stats are standard (G,A,+/-,PIM, PPP, GWG)
C - Backstrom, Stamkos, Steen, Brunner LW - Hall, Ryan, Boedker, Pacioretty RW - Heatley, Selanne, Stewart, Okposo, Mike Brown Probably going to be looking at keeping 7 or 8 forwards (1-2 d-men and 1 G). I know I have some obvious forwards to keep (Backstrom, Stamkos, Hall, Ryan, Pacioretty), so are there any guys in the remaining group that you think would be worth keeping or should I start trying to trade off pieces to build up my keeper list? Brunner interests me, but I can't tell if he's the real deal or just the beneficiary of a good line. Stewart is another that I'm thinking about keeping if he can keep his scoring up. His PIM's are a bonus. I'm just trying to figure what direction I should go in now that I'm pretty firmly planted in the cellar. My goaltending took a collective dump on me, so I have no chance at competing.

I thought I'd hold off on posting the others since this was forwards discussion, but here you go:
D - Goligoski, Wideman, Tyutin, Gilbert, Ellerby, Fowler, Pitkanen (IR), Meszaros (IR) G - Makstrom, Lehner, Garon, Hiller Was leaning towards either a combo of Goligoski & Wideman/Fowler or possibly trading a couple of these guys to get one elite d-man option. Goalie categories are Wins, GAA, SV%, and shutouts.

You could use some help on D and in goal. I would approach the karlsson owner and try to acquire him. If he's competing you have some chips to throw him and improve his chances. If he's not competing, I would consider moving Backstrom for karlsson

Are there any other D-men worth pursuing? I actually am trying to get Karlsson, but have a feeling the guy won't budge. I was also eyeing OEL and possibly Doughty as a buy-low candidate.
