Price or Fasth REP
Who would you guys start tonight. Price against the hot leafs or Fasth against the predators. Neither goalie has been confirmed yet but both look to be starting tonight. Im thinking Price since he has been a Vezna candidate all year but the leafs have been rolling.

Price, no question!
Fasth was creamed in his last start and that may have been the needle that popped his balloon. He is a good goalie, but he is not the world's best goalie (which is what his current stats represent). Price will look to get some payback for the last time the Leafs destroyed the Habs in Montreal. Look for him to be solid in nets tonight.

I would start Price... Odds are he plays. I wouldn't be surprised to see the ducks go back with Hiller tonight after Fasth lost his last game.

Price for me too. Even if Fasth plays tonight, the Preds have actually been scoring some goals lately so no lock that it will be the defensive grind it out game we're typically accustomed to.

Price will start for sure, and I'd start him. I'd pretty much start Price the same way I start Lundqvist, as a no-brainer start each week (unless of course you're lucky enough to have a couple of other elite goalies like Lundy, Rinne, Rask, etc.).
Fasth has been great but didn't have a stellar last game and they are playing a Preds team that is starting to find itself offensively - it's a situation tailor-made for one of those 4-3 or 5-4 games, assuming Fasth even starts. On that note, it's a toss-up for tonight as to who starts but whomever it is it'll probably go like this over the next week, barring a shutout: - 2/27 - Hiller - 3/1 - Fasth - 3/2 - Hiller - 3-4 - Fasth - 3/6 - Hiller or Fasth For tonight, on the one hand I'd say Hiller because of Fasth's last start, but it could easily be Fasth as Boudreau complemented his performance notwithstanding the 4 goals he let in (and the weak 3rd goal five hole). So wouldn't be surprised to see Fasth get the nod.

And that is what makes things so interesting. I usually always go with the better player who would be Price but its hard. Fasth is need for a big bounce back game. Price also has been horrible against Toronto and is due for a big win. Decisions Decisions.
