Phoenix vs Anaheim: three in a row!

I just noticed that from Saturday, Phoenix and Anaheim will be meeting for three games straight (Sat, Mon, Wed), with the first two being held in Phoenix. I wonder why it's been scheduled this way.

Same thing with Dallas and Anaheim on Apr. 1st, 3rd, and 5th. The last two will be in Anaheim. Just the vagaries of the abbreviated schedule.

Arena availability seriously fugged with the schedule this year.

And personally I like it. Very baseball-esque, which is great for rivalries being able to play a team so many times in such a short window.

If there is money to be made and a limited amount of roster spots there will be players trying to get an edge to get in. But anyway, that's a topic for another thread. I don't feel like derailing this one.

Another bizarre one, the Oilers host the Ducks twice on back-to-back nights in April. 6:30pm on Sunday, 7:30pm on Monday as a season ticket holder I'm sure I'll show up to the wrong game.

So should we load up on goons from these teams that face each other multiple times within a short amount of time? Seems like a good bet to get some PIM.
