Sam Gagne or Tyler Myers?

This is for the league that is linked to in my sig. It is a salary cap where we keep players until the end of their contracts. I'm rebuilding and should be in contention next season. Here is my team:

The players highlighted in the main roster are injury replacements and aren't my property once the injured players(at the bottom of the roster). Also, after this year we count cap hit, not salary.

When a player hits UFA, if he is resigned 10 days before he hits market the team can choose to keep him at no cost. If he hits RFA, it's complicated but basically every team bids on him and you either match the top bid (probably 2-4 million dollars for one season) or release him for draft picks and cash.

Who would you rather and by how much?
Myers costs a pretty penny but he is signed for quite a while and has a ton of time to grow. I'm also weak at d and relatively overloaded at C (Gagne, Stepan, Brassard, Hodgson, Huberdeau (maybe), Kreider, Coyle).
