Getzlaf for Voracek +

With Getzlaf possibly getting 7M+ next year, looking at moving him for some cheaper, younger talent.

I still think Getzlaf can be a ppg player.

Voracek on the other hand is still 22 and 4.3M. I think he'll stick on the top line when Hartnell is back.

Voracek and young D like Kulikov

This trade is really about saving Cap so you'll have to do it. You'll still have plenty of fwd depth and Kulikov will be a great piece. I would say Getz is the best player in the deal but in Cap leagues, money is often the deciding factor. Go for it.

If an admin could change the title, that'd be great - Getzlaf for Voracek.

It's Getzlaf for Voracek straight up.
Purpose of deal is to get a lower cap hit for next few years.
Voracek has 3 more years after his at the 4.2M hit.

Would you still do it??

I wouldn't pull the trigger on this yet. I'd wait a bit and see if Voracek can remain a consistent pt producer. You have the upper hand in owning Getzlaf while the other owner is trying sell high.
