1st Team in Sig
It's my Benn Souray and Coyle for Marleau Grabovski and Kulikov I definitely do not want to part with Benn but I'm in first and I don't know if this helps put me over the top to win this year ?? It definitely hurts me long term but does that matter when you're trying to win ?? All sound and honest advice will be rep' d. Thanks

Not sure I like the deal for you even on a one year timeframe. Marleau is due for a regression to his career norm while Benn has some latent value this year assuming he reverts to close to his production from last year. Souray seems like a better one year option than kulikov though Souray did fade off at about this time last year (games played not calendar).

Keep Benn. In a keeper league, Marleau should not be the starting base in an offer to recieve Benn. Benn is better than Marleau now, and will be so every year that follows, Benn is on the way up in a big way. The other parts of the trade are very small, when considering the fact that you are giving up Benn.
I like Kulikov a great deal, but right now he's probably a step behind Souray in fantasy production, and will probably remain so for a little while longer. Grabovski is a nice piece for the short term but it won't be too long before Coyle is every bit as good. Keep Benn, even if one were to consider the other pieces in the trade a big upgrade for you, I would still not move Benn. |
