Trading for Karlsson

After Karlsson got hurt, I made an offer to his owner is this league:
12 Team Yahoo H2H Keeper, Keep 8 each year
G,A,+/-,PIM,PPP,SHP,FW; GS,W,GAA,SV%,SHO
C,C,LW,LW,RW,RW,D,D,D,D,Util,G,G, 5BN's, 3IR's

Offered him Yandle+ for Karlsson. Top 6 make the playoffs, and the other guy is around 8th right now. I made the offer, pushing that Yandle could help him make a push for the playoffs, with Karlsson gone for the year; and from my perspective, that I could cover for Yandle's contributions with a waiver pick up, somewhat. He declined, saying he would need to have one of my top guys like Giroux, Malkin or Ovie involved to consider it.

So, should I consider moving any of my Big Three, for the big chance to get Karlsson? I usually end up keeping 5 F's, 2 G's, and 1 D-man each year (Yandle has been that D-man each of the last 3 years). Big upgrade there if I could get Karlsson.

Out of my Big 3, I think Ovie is the only one I'd consider including here. Can I make up for Ovie's numbers with what I have or could pick up off the wire? At the rate he's going, I think yes. But he's Ovechkin! Anyway, would you pursue this?

before Karlsson got hurt I (A) traded him in a package that included Ovie as the main piece. it wasnt by any means a straight up deal, the OV owner (Z) paid a premium at the time (which was two games before he got cut) but thats the kind of return he should garner, maybe not right now but expect that when the new season starts...
