O'Reilly's dad goes Lindros
ROR's dad has a Lindros parent moment in this e-mail he writes to the Avs' beat writer which he asks to be published:
http://blogs.denverpost.com/avs/2013...mpaign=twitter At one point, he basically says that...eeh it's none of my business to pick the Avs' roster but if it were me, I'd build it with character instead of skill indirectly implying that the current team doesn't have it. It's an enjoyable read.

Hahahahahaha, that's such an awesome letter. I really loved "Where we go from here will be a matter of character." because sitting out and abandoning your team because you're not happy with several million dollars as your second contract surely speaks of great character.
I also love that a lot of my students here in Sweden could write better English than him.

O' Reilly has become one of the most overrated players in hockey history. Please get traded so we don't have to hear about this pathetic dilemma anymore. ROR, you aren't even close to the worth of $5 mil per season. Shut up and go play for $2 million like it should be.

I think this is just Kyle Turris version 2.0. I remember the reports saying he was asking for huge amounts of money blah blah blah. Then gets his real wish if being traded and doesn't sign a giant contract like he apparently wanted.
I would make a solid bet that if Oreilly gets dealt his new contract won't be over 3 mill a year.
