A trade just happened in my keeper league and I personally think it was borderline trade rape, but what do you guys think? We keep 5 players, so maybe one or two of these players will be kept at the end of the season by the respective GMs.
Team A receives: Roy, Richards, Suter Team B receives: Purcell, Ryan, Seabrook

When I have to think, who's raping who? It becomes clear that this trade isn't very lopsided...

Yeah, I don't think it's that bad.
Just to be clear, what Richards are we talking about?

I can't believe I did that...its Brad Richards.
Thanks for the responses, maybe I am just be keying on the big names, but I think the Brad Richards, Ryan Suter, and Derek Roy side wins by quite a bit. I think that Suter has a higher upside this year and into the future than Seabrook, and that Brad Richards is just a buy low but he should regain pretty solid form.

If absolutely proven, can't-miss players are going one way in return for nothing, then you worry about collusion. But when there's at least one buy-low candidate involved, it's just a matter of how each manager values each player.

In a league that counts hits and bls I much rather have Seabrook than Suter but maybe thats just me.

I think it's a pretty fair deal. Definitely not close to being an extremely unfair deal. I think Suter, Richards, Seabrook and Ryan are all pretty even. Having hits and blocked shots definitely helps Seabrook a lot. Out of those guys, I'd rather have Ryan as a possible keeper (winger over center helps also), and anyone getting the best player in a deal is not going to be getting 'trade raped.'

It actually looks pretty even to me. If anything I was thinking that the Purcell, Ryan and Seabrook side wins this deal. Ryan and Richards are pretty equivalent in my books, and Ryan is a lot younger. Purcell and Roy are both 60 point guys, and Seabrook has great value is hits and blocked shot leagues. So if anything it's:
Ryan = Richards Purcell = Roy Seabrook>Suter
