Default Thinking of dropping Dustin Brown or Micheal Ryder

In a ten 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily.

It is a H 2 H league where we track G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPP, Shots, W, GAA, SV% and total saves.

My team is:

Anze Kopitar
John Tavares
Cory Conacher
Thomas Vanek
Andrew Ladd
Dustin Brown
Sam Gagner
Patrick Sharp
Marian Hossa
Brian Campbell
Michael Del Zotto
Matt Duchene
Wayne Simmonds
Jeff Skinner
Michael Ryder

Ray Emery
Ryan Miller
Ilya Bryzgalov
Mike Smith
Corey Crawford

Right now my team is in the lead and is doing remarkably well considering 3 of my goalies haven't been doing terribly well. I needed to pick up Emery given that Crawford has an unknown injury and may be back soon, but may not be.

I am thinking of dropping any of these players:

1) Campbell has not looked very good lately - Florida is a big part of the reason.
2) Ryder - was expecting him to ramp up when Jamie Benn returned and he has not really done it.
3) Dustin Brown - LA has never be an offensive juggernaut, but his performances this year are terrible.
4) Conacher has come back down to earth after getting a huge start.

There are a couple guys on the WW that I have been watching:
1) Vladimir Tarasenko
2) Jamie McGinn for Dustin Brown - up tick in almost all offensive cats
3) Matt Read
4) Nazem Kadri
5) Rapheal Diaz for Campbell
6) Marek Zidlicky for Campbell

Thoughts?

Thanks.

I dropped Brown over a week ago and haven't looked back once. Its worth mentioning that Read is now playing on the top line with Giroux.

Read's putting up pretty solid numbers, I think I saw that he was even outscoring Giroux up until yesterday.

I have a waiver in to swap out Dustin Brown for recently-dropped Alexandre Burrows who also is LW/RW eligible.

It's a shame, I really thought Dustin would be the fill-in for any injuries to my starting lineup. Instead it will be Burrows. I also am last in PIMS and struggling with my +/-, which I thought Brown would chip in. That's not happening either.

That may be true, but it is because Brown hasn't shown the promise he had all last year. If you are saying that he won't show it this year and to drop him than that is one thing, but dropping Brown only to get him again if he turns things around is a completely other.

So do you think Brown will continue to perform badly for the rest of the year? If so why?

Yeah - I agree.

I drafted him expecting to get a poor man's Hartnell. He has been anything but.

Are there no other guys you would drop or pick up from the ones listed above?
