Default Massive return on Karlsson

Apparently there is a GM in my league that wants Karlsson, regardless of his season ending injury. He has offered me Tarasenko, Schwartz, Hedman, Bouwmeester, Strome and a goalie prospect (he has Binnington, Vasilevskiy and Calvin Pickard)

First thing that pops to mind is this trade would never get approved by the Commish, but supposing it does, I'd be stupid not to accept yes?

Team is in sig.

not enough for me. tarasenko is nice and hedman is looking better, but ther rest doesn't even interest me. it would take more than that for me.

I wouldn't do it either.

Karlsson is still the premier defenseman in the NHL - he just happens to be out for the rest of the season. You need to make sure you're getting a massive return if you move Karlsson. With shots as one of your scoring categories, he's even more valuable than usual.

None of those guys - even as a package deal - makes me think you should do it. Tarasenko is the best of that bunch, and he's going to be good, but the rest of the pieces still aren't good enough.

Neither would I. Someone trying to sell high on the hot start from tarasenko while buying low in karlsson. I you move karlsson, make it for proven production + a guy like tarasenko.

The guy is playing a old trick and trying too overwhelm you with volume.
Remember you have the only proven superstar invovled.
Thank him for his kind offer. Then tell him to include a young proven superstar in the package.
Someone like Crobsy should do.

Just based on the guys who you'd be dropping that are basically equivalent to some that you are adding this isn't worth it.

Tarasenko and Hedman could work as building blocks to a deal but I'd need to see tangible NHL talent surrounding them. What has been offered is just noise.

If you can get one good upgrade in there, like say Wideman instead of J-bo, I'd really consider it. But as is, not really enough...
