Three years ago, the Thrashers traded away Marian Hossa (contract year) and got Colby Armstrong and a couple of jock straps. They also included Pascal Dupuis in that deal. I remember thinking... damn, Dupuis is a pretty solid player. I can't believe the Pens got him thrown in.

Fast forward to last year - Dupuis had the longest point-streak in the NHL.
He put up a career year that many of us decided couldn't be repeated, especially since he gets almost zero powerplay time.

But Dupuis... damn, what a solid, solid player. For anybody that is watching the Sabres-Pens game today can tell you - well, let me put it this way:
If you ever doubted what Dupuis could do on that top line with Crosby, just go and watch the highlights from today's game.

Just go watch his 2nd goal on the beautiful cross-ice backhand pass from Letang.
And it's not just the finish... watch the play before Letang gets the puck. More Dupuis.

Pascal Dupuis. Don't sell him low.
Buy him if you can get him at a reasonable price.

Roto league gold. Picked him up last year for Nystrom and Tangradi. Used whatever name value Tangradi had left to get a guy that contributes all over the place.
