Trade ready, need approval...
It's the last time I bother you guys with that, I promess!
I posted a few weeks ago about a trade for OV, and after negociation here's the best I could get... His: Ovechkin + Hanzal (plug) My: Carter + Voracek + Nyquist + (late) 1st round pick To give you an idea, I took Voracek 3rd overall this year and the pick I'm giving here will likely be between 11th and 13th overall. Losing that pick hurts a little but my keepers would look nice after that trade! Keepers now: Crosby, Tavares, E.Staal, Carter, Kesler, Voracek Keepers after: Crosby, Tavares, E.Staal, Ovechnin, Kesler, Turris/Berglund What do you guys think ?

I am almost hesitant to say no, I am giving up on Ovi.

You're essentially upgrading your forward keepers by replacing Carter with Ovie, unless I'm missing something. I would make that trade.

Wow is that really how far Ovechkin's value has fallen? Take that deal and run!
Just came off a 5 game point streak, and has 30 SOG in his last 7 games compared to 22 in his first 7. He's coming around a bit....don't expect him to miraculously get back to 100 points but you're really giving up nothing of consequence to get him so good luck.

Ya, logic said you had to take it. I also am done owning Ovy, but now's the perfect situation since his perceived value is even lower then his low-performance this year. Even if he doesn't fully bounce back, you just got him at good value.

Bringing back an old thread...
Wow, how bad does this look right now!? Voracek got on fire the day I did that trade... Since then, him and Carter combined for 24 pts! OV has 6 pts and Hanzal has been sidelined with an UBI... I'm sitting in 5th (out of 15) and with the extra 18 pts would be in 2nd place! I know (hope at least), in the long run I probably did the right thing and got the best of that deal but right now it hurts! BAD!
