I've been getting killed in the goalie cats. With hiller playing terrible when he isn't hurt would it worth dropping him and grabbing Holtby.
I've tried trading Hiller but haven't any luck and I feel uneasy about just dropping him but its getting to that point. Thanks in advance

Fasth isn't stealing Hiller's job. Not right now. Hiller will get better, especially with his job on the line. The smaller workload, Hiller will be better. Now, trading Hiller would be an option. Even though you said it hasn't worked, it won't hurt to keep trying. Who else is on waivers?

Yes you have to stick with Hiller in a 12 teamer as you wont get his value. But while no one knows what will happen with the Fasth/Hiller battle, Fasth is clearly the better goalie right now(and some scouts say period). Boudreau loves him too. Just hope hiller goes on a hotrun then take advantage.
Washington are playing good right now - 3 in row with holtby between the pipes. But notice he is not playing that good in the wins. Something about rushing hot young goalies thru the playoffs. Ward, Varlamov, Holtby.....theres a pattern |
