Default Kane, Staal, Duchene

Morning All,

For the league format in my signature how do you value these guys this year and in the next 2 - 3 years:

P. Kane
J. Staal
Duchene

Patrick is obviously having a great start to this year but do you think he will keep it up and ultimately how far ahead of these guys do you see him?

Thanks,

Drift

Pat Kane
...
Matt Duchene
Jordan Staal

Skill-wise, Pat Kane is a top 15 player in the NHL. Perhaps by hockey-sense too.
I think he was stifled last year playing at center (due to the defensive responsibility that goes along with playing that position). He's ideal on the wing and what you are seeing (a top 10 scorer) is what he can be for the next 3-5 years.

Thank you guys for your responses and your details Pengwin.

Basically I was wondering how big of a difference there was because a guy was trying to pry Kane away from me and one of the offers was those two guys. So figured I would do my research before completely shutting down the trade chat.

Love Duchene's potential (crappy team), but not sold on Staal's. Is there anything else available?? Like maybe a different player than Staal or a 1st rd pick?

Overall, if you're thinking about moving Kane, look for an elite D, plus Duchene.

P. Kane: Looks motivated, and playing on a very good Chicago team
Duchene: Still believe that he will be part of the elite.
J. Staal: Excellent hockey player, I just like the other two more.
