Who should I drop going into next year.

I've got a good idea who I want to hold onto for next year but would like to hear back from people not in my pool.

I won last year, but don't have the team to do it this year. Some obvious holes on my blue line, but decent prospects I think. Currently I'm pursuing draft picks and prospects in our league. And may be moving some players who's contracts go up next year for players like conacher, brunner or yak.

What 12 would you keep? Who would you trade for younger point getters with nicer cap hits?

I know it's early to be talking about this, but I'm too far out to finish in the money and I'd like to know more my possible trade bait.

1) What is goalie scoring?
2) How many do you start at each position? (Forward positions C/LW/RW? or just "Forwards"?)
3) What's the deal with "contracts"? That can be important.
