Trading Giroux?? Am I crazy
I know this is complicated but if someone could spend a few and give me advice, that would be great.
Keep all keeper - MOCK Cap/Contracts - dress 15 FWD 6 D 1G - Points only I am trying to win this year and am struggling to keep up to the guy in first and he has strong D. I have sacrificed EVERYTHING for this season and although Giroux is doing okay he's struggling without Jagr or Hartnell. I have recieved an offer of Plakanec, Fleishman and Shattenkirk for Giroux. Starters in bold STEVE STAMKOS JORDAN STAAL BRAD RICHARDS JAMES NEAL MIKKO KOIVU JORDAN EBERLE PATRICK KANE PATRICK SHARP PAVEL DATSUK OLLI JOKINEN CLAUDE GIROUX ERIC STAAL PATRICK MARLEAU JOE THORTON RICK NASH ANTONNE VERMETTE DERIK STEPPAN RAY WHITNEY DAN BOYLE CHRISTIAN EHRHOFF DENNIS WIDEMAN RYAN SUTER KEITH YANDLE MARK STREIT JACK JOHNSON KEVIN BIEKSA Plakanec and Fleishman would replace Giroux and my struggling Jokinen. Shattenkirk to replace Wideman or Streit and I could Trade Jack Johnson and get maybe a draft pick back as I have traded all mine away for this years roster. Please help

Keep Giroux. You've got a stacked forward roster. Keep your studs. If you're going to trade Giroux, get a great forward for him who is overachieving, and a high pick.

No only elit return in that deal is Shattenkirk and that isnt enough.

getting the same type of crap offers for Geroux (as well as Malkin and Quick)....but you just have to hold on and hope for the best with these guys. Even if the entire year is disappointing, waiting for next year is better than selling low for a crappy package. Everyone in my pool thought I was a lock to win it this year...I am currently sitting 4th in the standings and still fading farther, but not going to make any rash moves. It took me several years to build this team, so I am going to ride out the rough start and hope the skill level raises to the top.
Unless you are offered a MUCH better deal than that, I would advise doing the same.

Don't do it. If you have to drop Jokinen and Streit to accommodate this move then it becomes Giroux, Streit, Jokinen for Shattenkirk, Fleischmann, Plekanec.
