Who should I replace Karlsson with?
I'm having a pretty tragic season with Spezza, Hartnell, Byfuglien and now Karlsson so far.
I assume there is no chance at all of Karlsson being of any use this season? My options are pretty limited right now for FA's: Andrei Markov P.K. Subban (I was the one who dropped him... lol) Oliver Ekman-Larsson Marc Staal Sami Salo Christian Ehrhoff Joni Pitkanen Dennis Wideman Duncan Keith Alex Goligoski Kevin Bieksa League is a point for a goal/assist and only one year long. Current team is: Forwards: Tavares, R. Nash, P. Kane, M Koivu, Pavelski, Jagr, Selanne, Tarasenko Defence: Karlsson, Byfuglien, Phaneuf Goaltender: Rinne Bench: Spezza, Hartnell, Brodeur

Points only, I think I'd go with OEL here as well. And I'd be real hesitant to race out trying to fill the gap with Gonchar. I understand the logic insofar as he'll be relied upon that much more now. But still, the top end talent on the Sens is dropping like flies and it wouldn't surprise me if there's a trickle-down effect on the production of those who remain.

But still. Gonchar is Gonchar...and he is available on the wire for me. I also have had Streit offered to me for a 5th rounder.
Or faulk is also available... Franson and Andy Greene too...but I fear they are short term stars. Sorry to hijack the thread...but I have the same issue.

Re Coolio1080: Another vote for OEL here. He's the real deal.
Re Havanablast: Faulk for me too. I know it hasn't done much yet, but got to love the 'Canes PP1. Faulk seems to have responded well to his sit down with Muller. Sens are going to lean hard on Gonchar's old bones, but as has already been mentioned, there's no support for Sergei in Ottawa.
