Apparently was a late scratch tonight vs. the Pens after being out there for warmups. No news on the reason from the Pens feed that I'm listening to.

Sportsnet.ca reporting that Michalek unlikely to play today or tomorrow and is "expected to see a doctor for a second opinion on his knee early this week."
Obviously not the headlining Ottawa injury news, but notable nonetheless given that the Sens need all the healthy bodies they can muster (and this might further depress what Turris, Alfie, Gonchar and the others are able to contribute offensively in the meantime). http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/2013/..._2_more_games/

Can anyone just say...surgery needed....done for the season already?
Ottawa coach Paul MacLean stated after Sunday's win over Winnipeg he doesn't expect winger Milan Michalek to travel with the team for Tuesday's game against the Islanders. Michalek made a brief return from an earlier knee injury, but reportedly suffered a setback and now finds himself back on the shelf. Man, that team can't catch a break.
But Silfverberg's been picking it up a bit lately, which is nice to see. And they just grow quality goaltending up there apparently.
