Default Putting together a trade...

This is for my Friends/Family keeper league.
( 8 teams - H2H - G/A/PlusMinus/PIM/PPP/SOG/GWG/Wins/SP/GAA )

My team is as follows:

C - M. Koivu
C - Backes (RW)
C - Stastny
L - Ovechkin
L - Zetterberg
L - D. Sedin
R - Selanne
R - Semin (LW)
R - Iginla
D - Green
D - Karlsson
D - Pietrangelo
D - Edler
D - Streit
G - Halak
G - Ward

L - Hall
L - Steen (C)
L - Dupuis (RW)
R - Callahan
C - Spezza (IR)
G - Elliott
G - Kiprusoff (IR)

Obviously my weakness is in goal. Ideally, I would like to be able to run with just three goalies given that only 30% of the scoring categories are for them and that two of the stats are ratio stats. There's more benefit to having one or two workhorses then a bunch of compilers.

Of course, I'm invested in the St. Louis goalies, which is pretty lame right now. Ward is too inconsistent and Kipper is gonna get dropped when he comes off IR.

I need a workhorse and a competitor is offering up goalies.

I won't list his whole team, just assume that any mediocre player on my squad is useless because there are only 8 teams so the waiver wire is jacked. That means if I want a goalie I've got to offer up a real talent.

He has:

Crawford
Lehtonen
Brodeur
Smith
Lundqvist

Obviously Lundy is the big target here and I'm not saying he's off the table but I'm not going to get into a convoluted, multi-layered offer for him. I've offered Ovechkin for Lundqvist straight up and if it doesn't work then I'm moving on.

Other options I am considering:

Semin for Lehtonen
Iginla for Brodeur

Do you think any of these offers are smart?

What about trying to target Smith? He might be a bit easier to get as he just came off an injury. With Phoenix's system, he will still get a lot of SO's....that has to be good for your league.

how about Selanne for Brodeur?

to bad you didn't make a move for Smith a couple of weeks ago you likely would have got him on the cheap.

He's my target if my Lundqvist offer fails and if my Semin for Lehtonen offer fails. I'll probably toss Semin for Smith at him after that Lehtonen one craps out.

I'd go for Crawford and test if he's available at all for a reasonable price. At the rate CHI is playing this year, that kid might end up a Vezina finalist.

Brodeur might be the easiest option if you sell him on the fact that Brodeur is like 100 yrs old with declining production, and could retire anytime. Brodeur's cost might be the most affordable since his shelf life could be just months.

Well after he countered Ovechkin for Lehtonen and I countered Semin for Lehtonen, we wound up settling on Semin for Smith. Hopefully, this solidifies my goaltending.
