Default Trade value of Fasth

Alright so the typical sell high scenario right? Trying to assess a fair return for Fasth. Most likely the only manager who will entertain offers is the one holding Hiller, but I can obviously throw out offers to anyone.

So what do you guys think a fair/good return would be for Fasth? Would Ribeiro be fair value? Feel free to throw out names.

Cheers

Not sure about Fasth's long term value, so it's hard to say if he's a sell high right now, or if he is for real. What I can say with certainty is that the fact he's such a big unknown makes him a very versatile trading option.

Now I've always been more inclined to target owners and teams rather than specific players. If you don't need goalie help, I'd try to sell him to the following targets:

1) A team starved of reliable goaltending
2) A really stacked contending team with stars to spare looking to push themselves over the top
3) A young rebuilding team
4) A slumping "buy low" type of player: Doughty, Ovechkin, Giroux, etc

Of course no one is going to accept Fasth straight up for guys like Ovechkin, but if you package him in with an offer for a slumping superstar, it might just do the trick.

Good luck!
